Looking For Spring

Throughout the weekend the snow melted away, thank goodness and brought the sun.

What happiness is that?!

Outside I ventured... to look for signs of the coming season of Spring.

Look what I found! Pussy Willows in full bloom! I planted this a few years ago and it is amazing that is has survived the deer throughout the forages of the winter season.

I also checked the migration map for those delightful hummingbirds. They have been spotted in southern Missouri! Sisters Barb have you spotted any? I have two sisters by the name of Barb, one in southern Missouri and one in southern Indiana. Let me know if you have caught a glimpse.

If you want to follow their migration, check out this link.

Well, got to love the sunshine and it does help to see those things in the house that might need some dusting off..

So off I go to see what I am able to accomplish.

Lovely photo of one of my favorite bushes...the pussy willow. I have an antique copper urn that has patinaed over to a beautufil sea foam green that I have a tall group of pussy willows from my home in Illinois. Left that location in 1995 and they always remind me of when I lived there. Sea Witch

So beautiful! And hummingbirds fascinate me in how they are so tiny and delicate and hover in mid air with their little motor running. Thank you for stopping by and leaving your sweet comment. Have a beautiful day.

No sightings in Missouri. We had a dusting of snow here this a.m. also but Spring can't be too far away.

Love the pussy willow; they say, "Spring," but the snow outside right now says something different!
