Sweet Laura

Granddaughters can be the sweetest thing... they touch our life in a special way that can make your heart sing. Generations that continues and represent a part that you have given.

Laura is my great granddaughter and how can that be?! Time does have a way of quickly passing.
Tonight is a show that we enjoy watching, "Who Do You Think You Are?" http://www.nbc.com/who-do-you-think-you-are/ Last year was the first season of using a celebrity to research their roots with ancestry.com. It is always a short season. It had us hooked. It creates a desire to do my own research. My husband has done his very well. All the way back to the 1300s, but alas not myself. My cousin, Wava is interested also. We have yet to connect and discuss all that she has researched. I hope it will be soon.
Tim McGraw was last week episode and he found a long line of patriotism and early settlers of America. It gives you a feel of those generations before you. Their life journeys and struggles. We all leave a mark on history. What will be mine? A wonderful family! This my greatest accomplishment. This I cherish.
Watch tonight if you are free. You will enjoy...

I LOVE that show! I record it in case I miss it.

After watching it, I dragged out all my geneology "stuff" and looked it over. Fun.
