Distant Hours

Our book club choice for the month of March. Last year, my choice was The Forgotten Garden by the same author. It was an indeed a favorite. I must say, this author is one of my all time favorites!
Yesterday, it was 60 degrees! Yes, the sun was sunny brightly in the middle of winter. Did it ever feel good to sat on the deck and soak up some of those wonderful rays. I pasted the time reading this wonderful story. Lost in the castle of Milderhurst, England and the mysteries of the stones walls that speak of the distant hours... But look closely at my picture... maybe pull it up. Do you see the bee that came to visit? She came to say hello and check out my reading material. I believe also to promise me that spring is indeed coming soon. I hear winter will be returning again. If only to remind me a bit more of it is left. But, I will remember that early visit from the bee.

I finished the book yesterday. Wow, another winner!

I have loved the warm temps and sunshine too! After the recent snows, the warmth and sunshine were real gifts weren't they?

The new owners of the inn are cousins of Bonita's. They moved here from Arizona. Nice people. They have a sweet granddaughter in 7th grade.
