This is one of my favorite pieces, I was able to obtain at this past Saturday's auction event. I do enjoy looking at the bead work and of the intricate work. Inside is a mirror for putting those last minute touches to lips before facing that special someone. Can you see a sweet girl excited about going to an event with this evening bag?Inside is a label bearing TORII backside TOKYO. All sides of the purse is beaded and in mint condition. Anyone any idea on how to date this gem?....

Yesterday, brought more rain, but in the afternoon, my friend Brenda B. and I ventured to Pella to check out the tulips. They have a annual Tulip Festival coming soon and we wanted a head start on enjoying the many tulips throughout the town. We were sorry to see many of the tulips were already gone due to the heavy rains and others appeared to be in their peak. They may be gone before the festival. Weather is always a gamble isn't it? We did enjoyed seeing them through the raindrops and then had a delicious lunch at Smokey Row. We visited some of Brenda's favorite shops and finished with sacks of treats from Jaarsma Bakery and Ulrich Meat Shop.
Even a rainy day is much more enjoyable... when shared with a treasured friend.
