Family Celebrates Springtime

The annual Easter egg hunt. Not found on the White House lawn but in the timber behind our cabin. We have started another fun tradition of hunting for eggs a few years ago. The timber being the most difficult but exhilarating place to discover the hidden treasures.
My DH spends much time the day previous hiding up and down the hills. So you will find him at the starting line-up giving directions for the hunt. On your mark... get set... go! I love to carry the camera and catch photos and look for signs of Spring. But the best part is sharing in the excitement of their search. The eggs are numbered and we do know how many are hidden. When everyone feels as if all have been found, we tally and then return to the cabin. Everyone is a winner as each egg is numbered and prizes correspond to number on the egg found. But...bragging rights belong to the one who finds the most eggs.
Well done hunters! It was the hardest search yet, but you only missed finding three!

Looks like a good time was had by all at your house on Easter. It rained here so I'm sure alot of egg hunts got moved inside.
