West Baden Springs

This is the vast free span dome of the historical hotel. It was originally named "Mile High Lick" in 1855. It was a very sophisticated resort which included on its grounds opera house, golf courses, church, ball field, and a pony and bicycle track. There also can be found a famous mineral springs on the grounds. So one of the grandest spas can be found here as well. One time in history, I heard it was dubbed the "Eighth Wonder of the World"
It has been newly renovated to once again be enjoyed by guests. I was content to walk under the dome and wonder at the majestic beauty of this place.
